Aragonite is a carbonate mineral and one of the two common naturally occurring polymorphs of calcium carbonate — the other being calcite. The blue coloring in these specimens comes from trace copper content during formation.

Blue aragonite is found primarily in China and is valued for its soothing coloration and smooth, waxy polish. Each palm stone is shaped for comfortable handling and displays the gentle blue hues that make this variety distinctive.
